I think it is B.S. that they wont knock the price down for the truck having 1200 miles on it. I would deffinatly hold out for the one you want. It is a big investment and you dont want to have a truck your going to regret. I wish they would have had the magnetic grey when I got mine. Its nice.

Magnetic Grey is the color that made me stop my desperate search for an '08. Dust does show up on it, but I have no regrets.

If they aren't going to knock anything off the price, I'd wait until they can get what you want, or see if another dealer in town will give you a lower price on the same truck. I had to wait three months for mine (was supposed to be four weeks), but now that I have it, I'm glad I didn't compromise on what I wanted.

Talk to a different sales guy at the dealership till you find one that gives you a lower price. I called my dealer a couple times and asked for a different sales person till one of them quoted a better price than his co-worker.

IMO that is a really good price for that truck. The Magnetic Grey Tacomas are getting picked up quick because it is a new color.

    I'm trading in a 2007 Acura TL Type S.

Last I talked to my sales guy he said there was still a possibility on one in Arkansas. He's waiting to hear back from them. If it's not an option, he's going to talk to his other lot and have them inspect the one with 1200 miles to verify that it's perfect. I've known this guy for a while, so I believe him when he tells me he can't come off the price even for the mileage. I do think I can probably get some free oil changes or maybe a few accessories out of the deal. Since I didn't hear from him before close of business yesterday I can only think that he's holding out for the one in Arkansas. Lets hope so!

1200 miles is a lot of miles - that's a lot of full throttle test drives, overnighters, and employees using it on the weekend!

    Wait for another...

I once got a truck with 200 miles on it, paid new prices. 2 years and 2 heater cores later I had to bail on it!

I'm glad everyone cautioned me about getting one with that many miles. I have decided to wait until he can find one with no miles. I didn't realize how hard finding a Magnetic Gray Sport would be! It's down to one last option in Texas. I've decided that I like the Pyrite color just as much, so if the Texas truck doesn't work out I've told him to search for Pyrite.
