i know there are a couple of new budding bowhunters here.

get those applications in!! if you plan on bowhunting only, you cant beat the AO (archery only) tag. lets you hunt almost the entire state with your bow. no X-zones

since you are buying the tag anyways..make your first choice, PD which is for a preference point, and you second choice the AO tag.

resident california hunting is a great bargain. lots of BLM land out there..i know some near LA, and some way north..great spots.
