    RIP Mr. Shelby

I actually met the guy once at the 100th anniversary of Ford. I can say he was very gracious and a very nice man. I bet he and I talked for 20 minutes or so and being a car nut I was completely thrilled to be talking to one of my idols. I might also say that his wife Cleo is a wonderful person and my prayers are with her at this difficult time.

Very sad to see that he has passed! He was and always will be one of my favorite automotive heros. The King of muscle cars! When you think of a hopped up Mustang or see a Cobra going down the road for that matter, you immediately think of Shelby.

I sure hope the Shelby Automotive Company carries on his tradition in a way that we would deem acceptable to him.

I sold my Cobra last week as a result of needing the money and moving on to other projects...We built the kit from scratch, and Shelby signed the dashboard. Very sad to hear the news.

:) Mr. Shelby was the longest living heart transplant reciepant in the world. He received his transplanted heart in 1990 and he lasted 22 years. He also had a kidney transplant from his son.

Sad day indeed. He took those GT40's and showed Ferrari what the rear end looked like!

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
You said it! Carroll built the fastest race car, I watched a documentary about him beating Enzo at a LaMans race or something like that in Europe and all the extremes the guy went to to kick Enzo's ass! RIP Carroll Shelby!
