Some crazy whackjob shot a guy while he was up wheeling with his buddies, seems the guy had a mining claim and didn't want any trespassers

Unreal, all over a little land use dispute.

 

Another reason why ....wheeling in 'unknown' or 'illegal' areas is not a good idea.

We have tons of areas to wheel about 2 hours north of me - but you won't see me or our club up there. Crazy people hunting illegally, drinking, smoking shit, and people firing off shotguns & stuff. You could easily get hit by a gun and/or mugged or whatever.

It just ain't worth it.

 

I read that thread and the responses give me a "Paddle faster I hear banjos" feeling.
