^ My plan was to build my own but I figured time invested + materials would've been more than this find. I'm still planning on building some sliders though.

I dig the work you did on those. I had your build bookmarked as reference to sliders for when I build my own, Idk if I trust my welding skills right now tho.

The lighting kind of sucks on this thing though, only disappointment thus far. On the stock bumper the light housing is placed at more of an angle. I tried using the stock bulbs, and for shits and giggles threw in a couple LEDs I had laying around. Hows your guys compare to this?

    Thanks for the compliment
Hell i let a kid taking welding classes weld them up for a couple packs of smokes, im going to be getting a welder soon and teaching myself hopefully so i can build a bedrack!

I just drew up a desin and started bendig the pipe and out they came, i did all the work minus the welding and they get used ALOT whether with the hilift or on rocks, trees etc. And ive had zero issues except alot of painting lol

Its well worth the time put in when you finish and look at it and can say you built them!
Looking forward to seeing a build thread for your truck soon!

Oh and as for the tag lights, i no longer have them wih the new bumper and have had zero issues, not sure about your state but im sure as long as you have them it ahouldnt be an issue

^ Ya it doesn't seem to complicated, I've got an old stick welder, when I get back to Colorado after summer I'll have to grab my buddy to help me with that.

For the lights I'm in California for the summer but spend the rest of the year in Colorado. I don't think it'll be a problem either just hate being harassed by cops. On allpro's new bumper it looks like they placed a light ontop of the license plate which would make more sense.

Forgot to ask what anyone thinks about tail light guards? I know they won't really provide protection but for $10 I can pick these up: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/pts/3047946639.html

Anyone think they'd look sick w/ the bumper or is this a stupid idea?

that is a KILLER deal man.

i got mine for a birthday about two years ago. for like 50 bucks... i think

they literally do not provide any protection. at all... maybe from a bush :notsure:

but if anything the will do more damage than provide protection.

BUT they look badass on a truck. In my opinion...

Only setback is no hardware...I'm on my way to get them right now, gonna stop off at ACE to pickup hardware. Can anyone tell me what size/thread count i need for the bolts, washers, and nuts?
