Let me hear the opinions... found a guy that has a set of freshly powder coated black TRD Baja rims with 265/75 BF Goodrich All Terrain's on em. Said he had some trouble getting one to balance because they didn't have a "sticker" style weight big enough to work, so they had to put in a bean bag. Other than that, everything is perfect. The tires have about 400 miles on them, so they are brand new. He was asking 1200 for them. (He is putting bigger rims/tires and lift on his truck now - 1st gen Taco)

I talked to him, and offered him my BF Goodrich Rugged Fails w/ the Factory TRD Off Road Style Rims plus 700 bucks for his set. I figured 500 bucks is what i would get out of them if i sold them outright so it wouldn't matter.

What do you guy's think - Ya or Na???

BTW... I have a 2012 Super White Double Cab TRD Off Road.

everything i research gives me mixed reviews, but if people are putting them in there motorcycle tires, they cant be bad... talked to the guy again a minute ago... turns out they are FJ TRD wheels powder coated black like the new trail teams... and since i was worried about the bean bag deal, he said he would do 500 plus my rims and tires.

Needless to say, I am going to get them Wednesday.

Yeah, I would in a heartbeat, worst case, you gotta buy one tire, and then have a fullsize spare :D

put that out of balance tire in the rear unless it's REALLY out of balance. $500 plus your set seems like a fair deal.

ended up pulling out... wheels were gloss, center caps were matte finish... couldn't do it once I saw them. After I paid all for all the balancing, new center caps, gas to get them, and what not, I could get the Fuel Boost rims I want anyways. If I could stay off this website, my bank account would be in a better place. :smash:

If anybody is interested in them, shoot me a pm and I will direct you in the right direction.

Wheels are located in Hillsborough NC near Raleigh.
