I want to put Cooper STT on my Tacoma Sport Long Bed with 17'' rims. Can I get some help on which size would work the best for my truck without having to put a lift on it. Also if I decided to do a lift would it void my bumper to bumper warranty from Toyota

The largest tire you can put on a 2nd gen tacoma without any trimming of cab mounts, or a lift is 265/70/17.

Also, a lift would not void your warranty from toyota. Look up the Magnusum Moss Act.

It says that if a dealership wants to void your warranty on a repair due to an aftermarket modification, the dealer must prove that it was the aftermarket modification that cause the issue on their dime. Most of the time, the dealership says OK an honers your warranty. Sometimes, you might need a lawyer involved.

I remember once member here, his rear diff blew out and the dealer said it was abuse even though he was just driving on his farm road, got a lawyer involved and cleared the mess up after a month.
