I have been searching the forums for days but could not find a definite answer and am not totally sure I understanding the entire backspacing, offset issue.

I installed the toytec spacer lift on my 2nd gen and have BFG All Terrains 285/70/17 on my stock TRD Sport Alloys. They now rub my stock UCA's. Most places I have found recommend new wheels or spacers to correct the issue. I want to avoid spacers, so what backspacing and offset would I need to find on new wheels to prevent UCA rubbing?

I apologize for this thread if this question has been answered, but I was unable to find it. Thanks

Also what rim width should I look for? 17x8 or 17x9?

either will work with the 285's. but if you are going to go down to 265's in the future the 17x9 wheels wont work with them.

the offset does matter. and it depends on the width of the rim
