The dude should have just grabbed it by the body and brought it outside. It probably has a smoother coat than his cat. What a girl.

Beware, it is black widow season already down here...

They are all over my condo complex. I kill at least 1 per night while walking my dog.

It is a spider. Not necessarily a giant man-killing machine...

Yah for some reason, they really like rosemary bushes. So if you have any in your yard, place of work, regular walking path, etc, beware.

We have a bunch of widow's here in NC too. They like to hide in my shed doorway, and in any spare pipe you may have laying around. Careful what you grab.............

great-now every time I see a spider in my house what's going to come into my head-

    "duhhh....DUUUUHHHHH......duhhh.....DUUUUHHHHH.....duhhhh....DUUUUUHHHHHHHH lol
actually for a girlyman he was pretty gutsy getting that close to them-closer than I would have the nerve to
in this place NO spider survives if I see em. They get the slam.

yea, not a fan of the black widows either. When I worked in munitions storage in the AF we would find dozens of them in our storage buildings. No fire allowed in the buildings either. I just shivered thinking about it :anonymous:

Okay, no arachnophobia here, but I routinely put enough bug spray around the outside of the house and storage sheds to keep them and similar well away.

Regardless, while the spider in the video was large enough, I've seen one much larger inside the basement of an old house in Germany. I looked up to see it hanging on a low wooden beam only inches above my head. When I attempted to remove it later, it jumped to the floor and took off into a hole in the wall some six feet away, all in the matter of seconds. Didn't know something that big could move so darn quickly.

I've said it before... I used to be like you, a candy@ss when it comes to spiders, then I sat down and rationally thought about it and realized I was being stupid.

    WTF is you talking on?
