I didn't find much of anything about OBA setups in 1st gens in here or the offroading section so I'll just ask if anybody has anything on their trucks.

I am purchasing an ARB CKMA12 compressor and a tank. Does the VIAIR 2.5gal tank fit underneath the truck? I was going to try to put it near the spare, but if I have to put it under there instead of the spare then I will. Just was curious if anybody had any experience with installing OBA setups.

    Thanks!

Boxrocket has OBA and there were a few threads in the Off Road forum I remember reading.

I'll see if I can dig them up for you

Ball joint spacers and lift blocks, am I doing it right?
I made a mount and put my tank were the spare tire would go, 1st gen 4runner though...

    Definitely like that^^^^

I also crawled under ther and it looks like I won't be able to fit a tank without taking the spare out. Oh well, too bad for the spare.

if your gonna install the ARB CKMA 12 here is a good shot of my setup. Passenger side fenderwell. Hand-fafabricated the bracket and used OEM holes.
