Wow I'm so glad I bailed out of this gb at the start.. When I called to ask for some advice the guy was a dick to me and told me I didn't know what I wanted.. I was like yea.. That's why I called you to ask for advice..

I really hope that everyone in this gb eventually gets everything they wanted as soon as possible.

There are a lot of vendors on here that I support to the fullest. Happy to say this is not one of them. I'd rather pay 10x these prices and order from ecgs.

x2, I'm happy I didn't go through with this GB as well. Orders were completed shortly after Christmas time, Were they not? So 5 months later and ppl still haven't received what they paid for?

I'm glad I decided to go through ECGS instead, IIRC it was only $200 more for what i wanted. In this case, it's gonna be money well spent.

I'll be calling them tomorrow. I'm still waiting for my stuff! Tried calling and emailing and nothing. The OP who started this GB won't even answer his phone. Pretty lame!!

I am getting hated on good, but to be completely honest I would be also. This whole deal has been hard to deal with from the get go. When a company wont call you back for a week when you leave messages saying you want to order 20 sets of gears should have been the hint. This has been a horrible experience for me as well and will NEVER do a group buy ever again for anything. How many of you don’t have your stuff? I have never done this before but here is my personal cell phone 206-225-6611, I am going to be at the dentist the first half of the day. Text me I will answer. Charles is manning the shop phones at 480-656-0878.

I'll admit it took a few months for my gears to come in, and i started getting annoyed, but at the end of the day i had my front and rear gears done and installed out the door for no more than $750 out of pocket. I think it was worth it. I hope everyone gets their stuff, i highly doubt anyone will get fucked, just delayed.

    Believe me, I've held group buys that have been waaaay worse, hint hint, G G L I G H T I N G ;)

    Folks,
Me got 2010 Reg cab 4x4, ordered 4.88 gears received no problems. I am not a mechanic, know the basics. Mechanic putting rear gears in says shims don;t fit. Anybody else have this problem?

LOTS of wiring, dual battery setup, Solar charging system, with some random lights spread around here and there.
I ran into that problem with my 4.56's and ended up using the same shims front and rear and got great patterns and backlash on everything both front and rear.

Yea I finally got mine... With 4.88 in the front and 4.56 in the rear, so I had to wait for the fronts to come in AGAIN. Like you said though at the end of the day they are in and perform amazing. Mine weren't as cheap to install but I'm in HAWAII :D

So I went to go sell my gears and we were looking at them and they are 4.88s not 4.56s. Hope there are some people who want 4.88s around

I would get a refund or have the vendor trade out for the correct one you ordered.

I had that problem with my 7.5" clamshell solid collar pinion shims... a little boring out with the dremel and they went on fine though. :)
