Just bought a 07 4x4 TRD AC yesterday. I will have to leave it for a few days to take care of things for holiday (or end of job), leaving today, and will be back in a few days after getting insurance and registration. Will be using it to take back a snowmobile to BC and some household stuff. As it will be making a trip of 1400 Kms on its first drive I plan on changing oil & filter (yes, will go with the Toyota filter and see if Costco has Mobile 1 when I go through a city.) Are there a couple of other quick things (don't have much time) that should be checked or done before the long shakedown cruise? Also, I would like to acknowledge and thank this forum and the contibutors that have given me the information to chose what is hopefully the right truck for me.
    Take Care
    Cam:)

Congrats on your truck. I would take the time to just visually inspect everything and depending how it looks, I would maybe put a new air filter in. Also I would check the condition of the wiper blades (hate getting stuck in a storm with bad wipers) and the washer fluid level. Have a safe trip.
