Bilstein/OME Lift, 5th Gen Wheels, BFGs, fun stuff... Had a 3rd Gen, twin turbo'ed it (traded in on a F150 Gen 2 3.5 Ecoboost)
I have decided on the Billy - 5100's from Down South Motorsports. (Set to 1.75")

My question is, should I order the Toytec AAL ($90 - Shipped) or shell out the few extra dollars and get the Icon AAL Kit ($180 after discount Shipped).

I wont be offroading much, and when I do... I will be so damn careful not to hurt my baby it aint funny... so off road performance wont be that important.

What will be important is ride quality, normal driving and while towing 3000 lb w/ Side by Side or the bass boat)...

So my question is - ICON or Toytec???

Or the Wheelers 1.5" 3 pack leaf set?

I really like my Icon 3-leaf pack. It's done well towing but I don't tow very frequently. For frequent heavy hauling you might want to consider something else but for what you're describing it'll do fine. I'd recommend leaving the overload in place if you go for the 3-leaf AAL.

Icon 3 leaf pack and 5100's on the way... 480 to the door. :yay:

Thanks to DownSouthMotorsports.com ... who are actually located in Crapifornia instead of below the Mason-Dixon line in the good ole South. Either way, they were excellent to work/order with and will definitely order from them again.

Now time for another mixed drink, and I may end up with new wheels and tires too. :drunk:

3 leaf AAL is the way to go. I have the Wheeler's and love it. 5100's front and rear with Eibach's up front, plates are set at 0". My lift is very close to what you'll end up with.
