this is my installation of my inchworm 4.7 crawl box and fj tcase with twin sticks.

this is a picture of the fj case that i bought off of ebay for $525 shipped.

    DSC_0001_c6911200bb9376e376b71dc87f3717b727f2df05.jpg

here are two pics of the twin stick mod done to the shift rails. Dont have any pics of tearing the case apart. Wyatt has a good enough write up for that. This was very easy to do. we didnt lose any of the keys or have to even deal with them. Just pulled the one shift rail that needed to be modded and put it back on and everything works great with it.

    DSC_0003_c65c5cf1f9d4522b995408fe1e05be009f66e061.jpg

next we had to take the little sleeve thing off the input shaft. didnt know how to do it and txted Wyatt. he said weld a nut to the end of it and get a screw to screw it off. Thats what me and Barry did except after gettin everything ready to screw off, we realized we didnt have a second wrench big enough to hold the input shaft still. well we came up with another idea and all we had to do was add a pipe. we made a slide hammer out of it and after three good whacks, it came right off.

so after all this, my FJ Case was ready to go.

    DSC_0004_188af9048bc3a421b0b99c6d7b372828c72de382.jpg

The next three pics are of the crawl box being installed/installed. this was probably one of the easiest parts to do. Also, my girlfriend got me that creeper im on and damn, one of the best things i could have gotten before doing this job.

The next two pics are of the shifters. We didnt mess with the twin stick shifters since i was happy were they came up in the console. we did have to move the crawler shifter forward and to the right just slightly. i gotta get another shift knob for the crawler shifter. I am using the FJ J-shifter knob for now

    DSC_0010_81e86f3f1b5893b75d1d0d840348ced20c910ae1.jpg

The final pic is everything installed. We clocked it at only 5 Degrees. ill probably keep it like this for a while.
    DSC_0013_fdfcdfbe3783905cd654a4ff8f1952ef5fbda7f2.jpg

The electrical part of this was easy. i had wired up the switch wiring harness like 2 weeks before i even ordered my parts. all i had to do was thing wire the the harness into the correct wires. also did the anytime locker mod since it was needed and right now it works, but backwards. to have it unlocked, i have to have the button pressed in. to locker the rear, i have to depress the switch. everything works like this correctly, even the dash lights. just probably got a couple of wires backwards. will correct this sooner than later. just need to get the motivation.
all in all tho, the electrical part was easy, just a little time consuming trying to get everything nice and neat and done correctly.

a few things that suck is waitin on getting the driveshafts taken care of. got them taken care of for cheap tho and done pretty well.
multiple trips to the parts store to get shit. i know this happens in just about any project, but it still sucks.
Smashing your fingers taking the 4wd sensors off the old tcase actuator
    [IMG]
lifting the tcase up and down multiple times to make sure you have enough clearance.

Thigs i still need to do:
get the cup holder piece fiberglassed some to get it nice and cleaned up
get some shifter boots made. going to get them done in black suede with red stiching to match the sub box and will also get my console covered done the same
get a crossmember made to hold the crawl box. will probably just tie it into transmission crossmember.
    my exhaust needs rerouting

so yeah uh, thats about all i gots for it

Heck yeah it is! Just all the gears and stuff look intimidating at first! But I had to end up doing mine twice! LOL! I did it the first time and FORGOT to pull the "Pill" out and then had to do it again! Did everything on my own again! Shit gets heavy i'll tell ya that!

What are you planning to do with the openings where the new twin sticks come through? Some custom plastic work in your future perhaps?

Sounds awesome! Can't wait to see it!

Also, do you have a part number for the ARB Front Diff Locker? I saw the rear on their site but couldn't find the front.

ummm not sure on which diff locker i got. I think its the RD121. that will work for 3.73 gears and lower and you can also use it for 4.56 gears that are thick cut

This sounds like it will look really good.

I think that is the right number on it and mine.
