I have made an aluminum flatbed for my 2010 Tacoma Access Cab. When I disconnected the light harnesses from all the bed lights, I started to get a flashing image or a vehicle silhouette just below the radio. Why?

The worst is that none of the bulbs come on now so that I can verify wiring for the new flatbed lights.

Anyone have an idea or an electrical schematic?

some of this, a little of that
put your key in the ignition and turn the truck on does the flashing stop? It is part of the anti theft system, look in your manual.

Welcome to TW, got any pics of the aluminum flatbed?

Thank you, I will try that. Any thoughts on why the bulbs do not come on when I push the brake, switch the turn signals, or switch the lights? The front end of the truck lights work, just not the back, now that the lights harnesses have been disconnected from the light housings.

I am just about finished with the bed and hope to mount it this week. Yeah!

I hope to post pictures soon.
