water in fog light housing

Anyone ever have water inside their fog light housing? I could understand them getting some condensation, which is what I thought I had until I looked closer and there's actually water sitting in there.

 

it could be from the condensation dripping down and pooling and can't escape, happened to a set of aftermarket i had, as bad as yours though

 

Good point, didn't think of that.

 

i think it prob is that, esp because the part right above the water doesn't have any condensation, but regardless, that is A LOT of water, GL

 

Thanks. Popped out the housing and emptied the water out and put back in. Hopefully it doesn't come back.

 

i'm not sure if it would actually work, but the place i got my fog light that fogged up as well, they said to put a layer of silicone around the edges, i just got them to replace it, cause I would think it would be best to separate the lens and scrape off the silicone between the lens and the black housing, and resilicone it, with urs that bad, i'm pretty sure it'll come back, here's what mine looked like
