Not just you Idaho, its tasteless in light of the situation we are discussing.

 

As a father of a 4 yr old myself, I personally don't blame the dad one bit. Sexual Assault (in this case, forced child molestation) is an extremely violent crime. I cringe at the thought of one doing that to my child.

 

Academy LD test question- The father in the preceding scenario has comitted:
A. A Felony
B. A Misdemeanor
C. An Infraction
D. No Crime

The answer is D.

 

Do I have a child? No. Do I have an opinion? Yes.

I think the beating was called for. I also feel that the pervert was a blight on society and his death saves us money and stops future incidents from said pervert. However, I wonder how many people on here that talk about the death of another person so lightly have actually ever killed another human being. I feel awful for the father- his remorse comes from being a regular guy who:
Saw his daughter getting raped
Killed another human being
And he will have to live with both- two very heavy things to carry.
Again, I think pedophiles have no place in society or even on this planet, but I'm not sure how I would feel after causing the loss of life. Would I have done differently? Idk. I may have had my Sig on me and things may have gone another route. Without being in that situation I have no idea.

Again, not defending the criminal at all, and I'm hopeful there are no charges and the family can move on with the healing process.

 

I do not agree with a "life" sentence. Why should someone live on our dime and have good living conditions. Compared to living conditions our military (myself included) has seen in Afghanistan, many prisons are a nice comfortable place. I believe that if someone is convicted (beyond any doubt)/confessed or is caught doing a crime that could get them life in prison, kill them. If people in the US realize "oh this could end up in my death, not just a jail cell", crime will go down. For those who do stuff like this guy did, there should be a government job (and law to allow it) that is just to provide an excruciating death. I would have no problem providing that service myself, hell I might even be willing to do some work for free.

If he did this once, he had probably done it in the past. Who knows how many victims there are. End the cycle.

I do not have kids. But I have many of my friends kids who call me their uncle, and I would kill someone/anyone who does something to them. However, I would not do it by bashing their head in. That is not painful enough and they dont know they are going to die. I am personally a fan of razorblades, lime juice, red ants and a tiptoe hanging (hang them without a drop so they can just barely touch the ground, provides a nice bit of time for them to realize they are dying). And before you all mention it, yes, my friends all say I am mental.

Tragic all the way around, but made less so thanks to the grand jury.

 

That little girl will be affected by this for life-but the nice thing for her is that her daddy had the chance to save her! Most kids who are victims don't have that and suffer far more horror I am glad he was there when he was. I hate evil.

anyhow, +1 to the father, that guy got what he deserved.

I have absolutely no sympathy for this child molester, zero tolerance for any of them. EVERYONE knows that molesting kids is wrong, even crackheads, murderers and other criminals know it. F@&k that dude, hope he rots in hell.

As far the father goes, i hope he gets a commendation for his service to society and that his daughter gets all the help she needs for life.

If it were me, I would have made damn SURE the guy was dead, no autopsy required. Geez, i hate pedophiles!
