Air bag warning light

Just came on today. Not sure what to do?

 

Get it scanned and if it's part of the recall it will be taken care of. If not you will know where to go from there.

 

It's an 04 I take it.

The dealer will charge a ~45$ diagnostic fee and you can go from there.

Unfortunately autozone and the like can't scan the SRS system, at least on the 2nd gens. So you'll need to find a shop that can, if you don't want to take it to the dealer.

 

too bad your not in jersey I have access to a snap on modis. scanned my 05 for airbag light.. after further investigation the wires pulled out of the connector under the driver seat!

easy fix for me. good luck to you. find someone that can scan for airbag, someone that's not the dealer .02
