I just bought a 2010 Double Cab and this is my first post. I'm moving all my stuff over from my old F-150 and I'm looking for a divider or organizer of some sort for the center console. It looks like there are tabs in there to connect a cargo type net or something but I haven't been able to find anything on the web. The console is pretty big and with everything dumped in there it's just a mess and it's going to be hard to find stuff when I need it. Anyone got any ideas? Why did Toyota put the tabs in there? Thanks and glad I found this site. Already making plans for future mods.

    Welcome to tacomaworld!

There is supposed to be a small cargo net on those tabs, strange it's not there on a new truck. I'd ask your dealer for it.

My dealer had to give me the cargo net upon delivery... They said people stole them on test drives, so they keep them in the showroom! Your dealer probably forgot it...

Okole seat covers, locking bed compartments, vent visors, curt trailer hitch, rear headrests removed, custom plywood bedliner with extra D-rings, disabled seat belt chime.
My 2010 Taco did not come with an OEM console cargo net. I ended up purchasing one on eBay for about $7.

I just recently bought an 2010 tacoma and it didn't have one either. I asked the salesperson and she told me they stopped providing them. :(

Luckily for me I just grabbed it out of of my 2009 that got totaled. I also liked the 2009 cup holders better so I grabbed that out of the truck too.

I had the same problem - picked up my new 2010 Tacoma, and no net. The salespeople as well as the parts guy were clueless. Kept insisting it was an "accessory" and couldn't find it. It's a $7 part that supposedly comes with the "JBL Audio" package. The Toyota part number is: 58299-AD020.

    Here's where I got it:
    http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=214631

Under "OEM Part Search" put in your year, make & model, then navigate to "Body Hardware" --> "Console" --> "Console" --> "Cargo Net" - you can see a small pic of it in the part diagram.
It's $6.68 from this parts distributor (as of 8/22/12).

i hate the new console. my 04 had two separate consoles where i could stash my weed and things on the bottom and my other things like my wallet and coins and shit i could put in the top. the new one is just one big "box" to dump your crap in. the 04 even had a built in coin sorter thingy. wtf toyota?

    anybody got any other solutions?

I have a small office desk organizer (like a small file holder) and a pencil cup in my console, along with the net. Does help to control the "console as a sh*# bucket" syndrome.

Can someone post a picture of the "cargo net" everyone is talking about? Is that what the two hooks are on the passenger side of the inside of the console? I definitely didn't get one with my new 2012, but I didn't buy entune either.

Gotta agree with Jungle Fighter....bar caddy is the best thing for the center console...more open compartments and very versatile...you are limited on the dividers (in terms of space dimensions) and you can't beat $6.30 on Amazon!

I bought the devider from SALEX and love it and there is plenty of ways you can set it up for different dimensions....plus I would rather support a fellow TW member.

I grabbed the bar caddy from Amazon and am pretty amazed with it. So much organized space. It even leaves just the right right amount of spaced on the outside of it for some papers and cds. Grabbed a top-down pic here.
