How about that ruling when Harringtons putt moved? He had addressed his ball, then walked away and never readressed it. I checked the book. Its unclear. As far as I can tell from the rules officials decision once adressed the ball remains addressed even if you back off and walk away. Regardless, it is unfair that it cost him a stroke.

What do you think Master Yota?

The incident at 15 green was a tough break for Paddy! I agree the rule is unclear. How bout his birdie putt on 18 that lipped out 180 degrees. What another tough break!

Is the Masters part of the PGA tour? I thought it was an independent tournement/championship.

If Padraig loses by a stroke, I guarantee that rule will see a review board!

    Funny!

There is a major event that within that particular sport, it is not sactioned by that particular sports sactioning body. It is however still recognized, within the scope of the sport, to be considered a major event. Most people do not realize this.

I just can't remember what hell it is. I was thinking it was the Masters. But thinking now, I remember Tim Finchum(sp), talking about the Masters in an interview a few months ago.

You might be thinking of the Player's Championship at the TPC of Sawgrass. It is considered the "fifth major" by tour players and many fans even though it officially is not a major.:)

That could be it. It seems I'm thinking of something else though.

I know for example that up untill recently, the Datona Supercross held in the middle of the AMA Supercross season, was not an AMA event.
