    shop around, shop around, shop around. adt wanted $45+ for our set up but we found out we'd get a discount (6months free for a year contract) through the builder of our house using a local company. once the 6 months is up, we'll be paying $27 a month for the exact same set up as ADT was going to give us.

    bottom line: not all nationwide companies are the best choice.

    ding. this is what all the cops i know say.

    also i think it’s good to keep your “false” alarms down. try to remember it’s on and not set it off. i have heard some companies set a number for how many you can have before they charge you. idk if they do that any more tho.
