I just bought a new Tacoma. No frills 4x4 5 sp manual. I love it enough though it looks like I'm always opening the door for my wife (no keyless entry). I got the 4 banger and am use to sometimes starting in second (300 hp Acura with 6 speed manual trans) so I'm not use to the under power of the Tacoma. Is there ant way to get a little more hp without spending a billion dollars. If not I still love it.

when you go from a V6 to a 4 cyl it's going to be quite different. Especially from car to truck

No I find plenty of power in my V6 Taco. Matter of fact I found the same in my 95' 4 cyl also I must add
