I'm getting the Undercover Classic and buying some parts from Thule, the 871XT, to mount my bikes on the hard cover. Has anyone done this before? And any suggestions on securing the rear wheel?

I've got a 2012 with the 5 ft bed. I'll try and post pics soon, but this is my first post.

I was thinking about doing this. I thought about it for awhile and realized I don't want to screw up my tonneau cover. The bike shop that I had talked to told me that from what they knew there wasn't anything to go on top of a tonneau that was aftermarket.

Hey jw1983, there are tons of aftermarket options! Seriously, tons. It's just a matter of making a few adjustments here and there. Thule sells the 871XTs for just that reason.
I just can't figure out how to secure the rear wheel without installing a rear mount bar or a whole rack like stmpjmpr did. I'm trying to avoid that so that I can still use the surface area of the undercover for other things.
As soon as my parts come in from Thule and my cover gets here, I'll post pics and see if anybody can help me brainstorm a little.
