Does your Glock shoot high and left?

Putting lead downrange.

Have someone else load your magazines. Have them throw in a dummy round halfway through every now and then.
When you hit the dummy, you'll SEE what you are doing on every round but you won't have the recoil to bring your hands back into position.

It's amazing sometimes. The first time I did it, I pushed the muzzle down a good 6".

In some respects, it's almost better to have a gun with an inconsistent trigger break because you won't get used to it firing at a particular point in the trigger pull.

I have a .22lr conversion for my 3rd gen Glock 22. Definitely worth the money spent. Cheap ammo and you can still practice the fundementals as Brock states.

 

Front sight, Front sight, Front sight.....slow and steady press of the trigger (unlike porn, no jerking allowed).

But seriously... here's my "low" shooting.

This is 48 rounds from my RIA 1911, cycling 2 to the chest and 1 to the head.
The head shots were aimed "between the eyes" (at the 5) and ended up going through the mouth (but effective apricot shots).

 

I'll have to get some snap caps this week when I have time and try that out. I have tried the dime trick before, and do it every now and then while sitting in bed watching tv... I actually have a MP .22 I just bought the other day to so I may give that a try...

 

Getting better....practicing the basics definitely helps. Slow and steady, in time, speed and accuracy.

Found it....

 

If you aren't already, try really pulling the gun towards you with your left hand and pushing outward with your right (if you're a righty). The opposing forces can really stabilize your shot without just death gripping the gun.

Had shot gen3 17 & gen3 19 well with no probs, so decided to fork out for a Glock 34 gen 4 w/ mos. Bought new. Shoots high and left. Confirmed with other shooters. Confirmed with laser bore sighter. Perhaps it could be something with front sight? Shoots high (but centre) when rear sight is pushed all the way to the right, to the point that the rear sight edge has just started to "overhang" the slide edge. Maybe being a mos model glock didn't think having the irons centred was so important? Lol. Might have to use an optic

 

My two cents goes to Meeestirg's post. I used to be a range instructor for a police dept. Most of teh pulling high or low left is due to what part of your trigger finger is placed on the trigger and how slowly\steadily you pull the trigger. I would rule that out before attempting other solutions. You don't want to start adjusting sites, etc. to try and counter incorrect shooting methods. Good luck and good choice on the Glocks. I own five. All in different calibers.
