Why not just buy a new Rubicon?

I just bought a '97 Wrangler... (my 3rd Jeep) and still love them. Get what you want to get man. I've been getting all sorts of shit from my friends because my truck was "so dope bro". IDC, I am into wheeling, and I have found the fun way that a Jeep can wheel 10x better than my 2007 Tacoma.

I am going to get another Taco one day down the road, I just have to buy a house and see what I have leftover haha.

Long story short: Buy what you want to buy. There will always be a Jeep/Toyota rivalry because people can be hard headed retards when they need to be. They are both awesome.

And I did not voice my opinion to get flamed. So if you have some douchecanoe comment to say, keep it to yourself please.

A Wrangler/Rubicon is nice for the approach/departure angles. Only a Land Rover can match those. Myself, I need a truck. I need a 6-ft bed that I can throw rocks into. A Rubicon is basically an ultra-capable tiny SUV.

I have about 700 lbs of dirt, rock, tree limbs, and assorted other landscaping waste in my truck, and the truck has a shell on it. A Rubicon can't handle that, it's not multi-purpose. And I could tow another 4000 lbs, the Rubicon can't do that, it's not a multi-purpose vehicle.

 

This is true... Even with a disc conversion on the rear axle, Jeeps tow great... but they can't stop the load worth a damn. The bed is the MAJOR reason why I do miss my Taco. It's awesome to see just how much Tacoma's can carry in the bed, especially if you upgrade your leaf pack. The only thing a Jeep really excels in is wheeling
