    Hi TW!

So, I have been an active stalker of this site since the day I decided to buy a Tacoma. I am reading posts to gain as much possible knowledge as I can before making my purchase. All of you seem friendly and I have see some really good write-ups!
I am not currently an owner, but I have a friend that is the Regional Fleet Manager for Toyota here in the Long Beach area and is going to get me one heck of a deal! I have my eyes on the 2013 TRD Sport, DCSB, 6 speed manual, 4x4. In white.
I will mostly be using the truck to go to and from work with the every other weekend dirt biking. I have friends with full size trucks that normally do the driving, so I will most likely still go with them, but my wife would like to get one too and I would probably just take her alone in the Taco. It would also be used for camping trips, and I am interested in purchasing a Toy Hauler (I don't have kids, so I'm thinking the 14-16 foot range).
I look forward to being an active member and becoming good friends with all of you. Pease don't hesitate to tell me if m making a bad decision based on my needs for the truck. I will do some LIGHT off roading, I'm a little scared to scratch it up!

Welcome! I don't think you can go wrong with the truck for what you are asking. I would recommend at least an access cab for what you are wanting. Don't be afraid to go to the Dbl cab as well. Gives you a bit more room for drunken people in the back at the camp site.

Read it, but must have skimmed part of it. It's early and it is Monday...

Agreed. If I could go back to 2006 I would do the same (if they had it). My problem is I don't want a 2012+ but I want to keep my indigo ink.

DCLB would give him plenty of room for an ATV in the bed and 2 on a trailer with enough room inside for his gear.

I have considered the Long Bed. My problem is that I live downtown Long Beach and parking is a nightmare! The short bed will fit in my garage though, this is why I am looking to that.

I was under the impression you can't get a DCLB with a 6 speed either, at least not on the East coast.
