was looking around the truck today and notice that the driver side rear tire is off centered. i notice some of these tacomas have this problem is there a leaf pack that i could buy that would center the rear axle out? i researched on some axle relocate shims, would i only have to put it on the side thats off? wouldn't that make my passenger rear tire face inward? any help would be appreciated

If you mean the wheel (axle) is closer to the front or rear of the wheel well when compared to the other side, I would suspect a sheared center bolt on one rear leaf pack due to running with loose u-bolts. Look for any signs of movement between axle and the leaf packs.

If all is well there, compare the gap between cab and the box on both sides, loose bed bolts can allow the box to shift, and make it appear that the axle has moved.

i have similar issues from time to time..my bed bolts will come loose and the bed will shift a bit. it's a common issue for those that off road. the frames are flexy and over time will cause the bed bolts to loosen. i would look at where the front on either side of the bed is in relation to the cab for indications if the bed has moved.

thanks for all the info guys. how much you think the bed will move if loosened all the bolts? cause the gap on the driver side towards the bottom does look a little closer to the cab.
