Thanks, I was the same way, I really wish I woulda been here before I got my leveling kit. I have seen 4 other 2nd gen taco's around town with the same rev tek 3" leveling kit. Kinda weird.

Give you guys an update on this, I have been super lazy latley. So all in all I am not impressed with the lights. It helps a little, but its not what I was expecting. It looks good with the head lights off, it is a really bright light, then you turn on the lows and it makes a difference, then you turn the highs on and it doesnt really make a difference. Now the outside lights actually do not work. I think I have a bad relay, but not too sure. I am going to go order the switches from the stealership today. Sorry bout no pics yet, the outside lights were working on and off for a while and now they dont come on at all, well they did for like 3 times flipping the switch today and now they dont. So I think it is the relay, but not too sure.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
I agree. I got some and installed them last week. I'd rather have the fogs. If I wanted to light up one thing 300 yards away I could but that really isn't helpful.

I had the same lights on my FJ Cruiser. I ran 2 130 watt long range driving lights on the inside, and 2 130 watt regular driving lights on the outside. Worked pretty good for me. I positioned the outside lights just a tad to the sides. With all the lights on, including the headlights, I had no problem seeing when I was going through the country pastures at night on our property.

I am getting ready to convert my entire front of my truck to HID's. Including doing a retrofit of all 4 KC slimlites.

I mean they are an ok light, dont get me wrong. I think that what I am looking for I got the wrong light, well it was alright when all 4 were working lol. I am going to play with it a lot tomorrow and see if its the relay that jacked up so hopefully when I go wheelin again I can use them. As for the switches, I went to the stealership and the guy kept telling me he didnt think it would work. He didnt even think it was a real number, so I asked him to enter it and he came back with, hmmm thats weird, its $14, I wonder what it is.... DUDE I told you its a light switch. He was doubting me big time. But I trust this site more than them lol

K so I got the light switches today and they work just fine. Only thing that worries me is the little indicator light stays on even when the lights are off and the truck is off. Is there any way to fix this? Or is it normal? The light switches are pn# 00550-35976

you probably wired the switch hot to the battery. may wanna tap into a 12v source that only comes on with the ignition. If i could guess you can turn the lights on and off when the car isn't on?
