107k miles and finally a problem...

Go figure it had to happen on a friday the 13th lol. Me and the wife were on our way out to eat tonight when all of a sudden we take off at a red light and wham truck shifts real hard and engine light comes on. So go by autozone to check the code P0986 shift solenoid. My question to you guys is how bad is it, I just sold my POS dodge b/c I was having so many problems with it and I'm hoping this isn't the start of my yota having problems. I appreciate any advice.

I have owned many different truck brands and Toyota surpasses them all. I drive them and sell them... I may be biased tho.
