headlight housing is fogging up with moisture

    i seen one thread about this with some input. or drilling holes is the fix. one of my headlight housing is fogging up with moisture. what would eliminate that.. thanks

    There are 2 plastic caps on the backside of the headlight housings. You could try pulling those off and letting the moisture escape for a few days.

    Have you done the BLHM recently? Because if you haven't that is only a temporary fix...

    I had a few issues. Baked mine a little. Then I let it dry out until no more moisture. Then sealed the hell out of all the edge with silicone. Get clear silicone. Run a fat bead around the entire lamp, where the housing meets the lens. Run your finger over it until you get a smooth layer covering everything.

    Some guys have drilled a tiny hole in the bottom and one in the top to let the lamp breathe but I like the seal it up method better and you still have two breathers on the back with caps and foam.

    I ended up just sealing everything including the breather caps and the bulbs. My lens is air tight, no more moisture issue. The other one I only sealed the outside and I haven't had any problems.
