Well the one in town here is much smaller, they only have I think 5 F150's on the lot currently. They are also not connected to the one I bought it from, so I wouldn't get the trade in value that I should be able to from the original dealer. They are nice guys to work with though, extremely low pressure and friendly.

I meant for service. I thought you meant that you liked their service better. So if you bought a truck from the guys that would take the Toyota back, then you can go to the one you like to work on your truck when need be.

I've only been here for a couple years, and aside from the winter wind, I do like it. It's probably why I couldn't go back to driving a car like I had previously. It's so nice when I go snowboarding/biking/camping or whatever to just put my equipment in the bed.

Ahh, I see it now, and you're right, if the ford service guys here are as good as the Toyota ones, I would be very happy to give them my buisness.

I would ditch the current truck. Who knows what other problems it might have a few years from now. I vote new Tacoma or a 3rd gen 4Runner (96-02). If you want true Toyota quality look no further than the 3rd gen 4Runner. :D

I tried a second generation the other day that couldn't hardly get out of it's own way with the 3.0 V6 it had in it. Is the 3rd gen with the 3.4 a pretty good improvement?

    Not too cool sir....
they are like night and day.
The 3.4 is a MUCH better engine platform than the 3.0 as I'm sure many will agree with.
3.0 also had/has head gasket issues IIR..
