Planning on putting visors on my truck - I like the look of the in channel type, but I'm concerned about it "spreading" the seal/moulding at the top of the window channel.

Any thoughts or advice one way or the other?

    Lots to come
I had the stick on, on my '99. They worked well..I had the in channel on my '09. Worked well and never any problems. I like the look of the in-channel better. So i quess its just a matter of preference.

No concern of the in channel bulging the moulding out over time? I mean, that channel is made for the window to fit tight, now you are forcing something else in there.

I think in channel looks sleeker for sure.

In channel. Stick-on looks tacky, will wreck your paint.

EGR low profile recommended...that's what I'm runnin:

I had the in channels on my 05 Ford for years and never had an issue, and loved them. I now have the AVS in channels on my Tacoma and love them. I don't like the thoughts of having the stick ons stuck to the paint, the opportunity for a carwash to rip them off etc. IMO go with in channels.

not sure why the debate. in channnel is the only way to go imo. paint ones damage the paint if they every come loose and if you arent just perfect with the install then it looks all kinds of screwed up and doesnt match the lines of the window. in channel would take some serious effort to screw up the install.

I have the in-channels on my tacoma and stick on, on my camry. Love the in-channels and hate the stick on. I followed the directions, but part of the tape has un-stuck itself and the visors rattle and drive me nutz. Not to mention let water drip into the car when it's raining. Have had no issues with the in channels.

I've had the old stick-on vent visors on my previous Tacoma and now the in-channels. The in-channels are easier to install and just look way better. I've had zero issues with it coming loose or binding.

I agree, in channels look better, but I dont think the stick-ons will hurt your paint, its just tape. should come off pretty easy.

Your truck looks good by the way

In channel there really shouldnt be a debate between the two... mine are egr in channel. My fiance thanks me everytime when she sees the tacky stick on ones!
