Since trading in my beloved 2002 Tacoma Pre-Runner in 2009 to accommodate a growing family (a rear-facing car seat caused me to part), now that my kids are a bit older, I am once again a proud owner of a Tacoma (2012 SR5, 4X4).

It's quite a story how I got to this point, but I've gone through 3 vehicles in 3 years, which is highly unpractical, I know, and unusual for me. After much soul searching, I decided that I just couldn't get the "truck" out of me. After taking a HUGE hit trading in a 2012 Subaru Outback (with 14K miles), I must say that I couldn't be more pleased, and feel like I'm becoming reacquainted with an old friend. It sounds weird, I know. It'll take some time to get used to the beating I'll take at the fuel pump, though! Just wanted to share with the other fine folks on the forum.

As per Tacosallday's request, here are a few photos, two from the dealership as I was closing the deal, and one from inside my garage taken a few moments ago. I never realized how much I would enjoy the white!
