Hey i have an 07 Tacoma and i'm looking for a bit of help on installing the Pioneer AVH-p2400BT. I'm gonna put everything in next week with a friend of mine. taking the OEM stereo out isn't gonna be a problem, and neither will stuffing everything back in, but i wanna make sure i have everything i'll need. i'm not completely sure this is the right harness, so if someone has a clue on which one to use that would be awesome. also, i will need some help with a couple fun questions:

    1. what is the best place to put the Bluetooth mic and how do i get it there. i was thinking by the rear view mirror. but, i have no clue on how to get it from the stereo to there.

    2. what will i need to wire everything together?

    3. is there something i'm missing?

Here's a list of the things i have ordered:
    AVH-p2400BT
    Scorche grey dash kit
    16 Pin wiring harness
    Metra steering control
Bypass from Amazon- simple grounding relay

if somebody could help me out, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks!

I just installed the same Head Unit in my 09 Taco this past weekend, it looks like you've got everything, I used the same Scosche double din kit, I ran the bluetooth mic from behind the dash down above the gas and brake pedals then up in the paneling by the windshield and mounted it where the paneling and the headliner meet, it can slide right in between them, the clip wouldn't fit around the visor it was too small. Hope this helps.

Guys, I've been interested in this HU for awhile. Could you tell me if it allows streaming of pandora via bluetooth? (without additional cables etc.) In the description it talks about audio streaming but it doesn't get into details. This is basically a make or break thing for me.

    Thanks,

    Steve

I just went out to truck to check. I have an Android phone so the HU Pandora app doesn't work but I started Pandora on the phone and it streamed via bluetooth. I've never tried it before because I have all my music on thumb-drive but it is pretty cool.

Wow, thanks for looking out. The price gaps between vendors are amazing.

I have a '11 Tacoma and was wondering if the bluetooth controls on the steering wheel is compatible with the unit?
