My 2006 tacoma cruise control sometimes will work and sometimes will not. Acts like a loose wire. Any suggestions? Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

My guess would be a faulty spiral cable in the steering column. Toyota has issued a recall for those things and the cruise control 'controls' use this cable.

Thank you for that info. Will call dealer. I just returned from a 5,000 trip and sometimes it worked and sometimes it did not.
