You're thinking of liability coverage which would be coming from the other car's insurance company, which probably is not involved.

His comp coverage has nothing to do with whether or not he was at fault.

Never said it did. However, a single criteria is seldem used for profiling. Instead, it's usually a combination of things (vehicle, passengers, ages, location, driving behavior, etc).

I haven't seen it, so I don't know. Therefore, I wouldn't presume to say one way or the other.

 

I've seen it happen to myself personally. Multiple times in fact. Everytime I was let go and given some BS warning.

All of the things you listed are illegal with the exception of driving behavior and are protected by the constitution. Does it happen? Yah, it does. But, that doesn't make it right.

If I'm driving down the street with at 4am in the morning in a lifted Tacoma with 4 mid 20's males, they cannot stop me without a legitimate reason. Profiling, like the things you listed, is constitutionally protected. A Officer cannot say "I saw 4 males riding in a vehicle, better check for DUI and search it".

How do you think lawyers get people off when it comes to traffic crime? I've seen drug cases where they found lbs of coke get off because the defense lawyer was able to argue that the tint looking to dark from a distance is not a legitimate stop and that the evidence should be suppressed.

It was caused by the koreans..not joking either. A korean store owner shot a black teen girl in the back trying to protect her store/property as the teen was running out of the store while shop lifting. She died from the gun shot. The store owner went to trail and convicted of only a misdemeanor and served no jail time, only some community service hours

I'm starting to think this thread should be in the "WTF" thread.

 

That happened a few weeks prior to the riots and protests were going on everyday in various locations throughout the LA area..the sparking point was the acquittal of the officers involved in the rodney king beatkng

 

I'm inclined to agree.
