Light Racing UCA's from Fat Bob's Garage or Total Chaos uniballs from Wheelers. There are many options that will not run you $1,000, time to do some research...

Yes, lift kits work on 4wd Tacomas...

No clue on the spindles but I have the Light Racing UCA's and they work perfect for me. Plust they have an enclosed ball joint and ABS wire mounts with factory hardware instead of zip tying them to the arm. $375 shipped through a group buy coupon, usually not much more expensive than that.

You can't put a spindle lift on a 4wd Tacoma, the front drive shaft prevents you from being able to use a spindle lift. You'd need either coils or a spacer. You were talking about an Icon Stage 1 or 2 kit, how did spindles come into the mix?

What's your budget for a complete lift (front and back), how high do you want to go and what type of driving will the truck see?

I was hoping for 4in lift kit but it looks like you can only do 3in without a spindle! doff-roading and drive up crazy trails for biking spots and always bottom out and need more of a lift. Im just sick of my wheels nailing my fenders driving up and down my hill to my house
