That Tinny Noise on the Roof When There's a Big Rain

    That tinny noise really bugs me sometimes. I can't verify if this works 100% because it's summer and hardly any rain. I use to work in Audio Video and a little Dynamat went a long way so I took both roof consoles off and Dynamatted what I could. Hope this helps.

    I've read somewhere else that dynamatting the entire roof under the headliner made a big difference in the noise the roof made during rain. Basically you are just adding more material to absorb the impact and make less noise than a thin piece of steel.

    You do not need to do your whole roof. That's a waste. A little Dynamat goes a long ways.
