i just went to the dealer today to get a hitch put on...i have the 4x4 reg cab 4cyl 5 speed so it didn't come with a tow package...they put a reese hitch on it with the wiring kit for $400 labor and parts...they didn't even offer a toyota hitch...i guess it would be over $600 for that but they still wouldn't put the oil/tranny coolers, backup camera mirror, alternator/battery stuff or anything...all that is put in from the factory....they don't actually install a towing package at the dealership...but they will put a hitch on for you and wire it up..i don't need a 7 pin connector or anything for a 4 cyl anyways lol...not gonna be pulling a trailer that big...my reese came with a 4 pin connector

Had a Reese on a 2000 Blazer. Very solid hitch

If you're just installing a hitch without trans cooler, I'd be careful what you load it up with... I had serious heat issues when pulling a 5,000lb load
