How much difference does diff drop make in a second gen I have a 2011 with 3" 5100 and eibach with top plate and I currently have the diff drop in. I recently bought an ato skid I was told it should work but the clearances be close well I have a quarter inch gap when the plates against the diff. Can I take diff drop off or should I make spacers and get longer bolts?

Clearance is key and our trucks aren't the best at. I have bashed my ATO IFS on plenty of things so I would stay away from any sort of spacers/etc. if you plan on pushing it.

I would only ever put in a diff drop if it was warranted. If your truck drives fine without it why bother. (if it ain't broke don't fix it)

.08% worse then they are now :D

    (fake %)

Take it out and see. It's only a couple bolts. Test it out. Jack up the front and check droop.
