My mom has a nissan murano and she bought some deck stain and it was kind of open so it spilled in her car...now it is unbearable to drive in the car without all the windows open....what can i do to get rid of the overpowering smell of deck stain??

Other than waiting forever for the smell to lessen over time, I'd say take it to a professional detailer. Maybe they can come up with some sort of solvent to help remove the stain. My best guess though, would be that the carpet (assuming that's where it spilled) will need to be replaced to get rid of it completely.

Leave your windows down and let it air out until it dries. and as far as getting the stain out, good luck with that.

My dad did the same thing in his blazer years ago. We tired carpet cleaner, professional cleaner and nothing did it. Ended up replacing the carpet.
