alright everybody, so tried another mike and nothing
Tried a different CB and worked so i know its not the whip.
Then had a friend help me and i got a super feint sound from him. And i mean super feint, like i had my ear right next to the 20 watt external speaker and i could barely hear him. I hooked up another CB to the external speaker so i know that works, and i had the squelch turned down and RF Gain up.

So now im stuck again. Any ideas?

Have you played with the adjustments for the RF gain and dyna mic? I have my knobs for both set right in the middle..maybe you need to play around with the RF gain adjustment knob and set it for more

Have you considered that you may have a bad radio?
