Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
The batteries for diesels are larger than our truck requires, and will probably be too large for the tray.

Measure it then figure out what group it is and the amps are pretty much the same no matter who makes it. Most top quality deep cycle batteries still have caps nothing wrong with that if you don't mind checking it every so often.

I have done all the hi-pro mods for a life time, since I got this truck at a great price, I will be happy with showroom new.
if you get a wet cell, use only distilled water, and be careful to keep each cylinder filled to same level. use a Dixie cup, its what my grandfather taught me to use.
2 ways to think about this.
with a wet cell battery if you check the water level usually about every 3 months, beginning of each season or when u change oil..... they can last for a long time.
with a sealed battery it still uses water and when its done, its done.
I will say i remember my dad got his 81 truck he bought new to last 7 years, and that included the winter of 85. (charlotte hit -5 that year i believe.)

If the labels are messed up on batteries, that is consistent with the dealer/distributor indicating that the battery can not be sold as new. There are a varity of reasons, but the most common is that the battery is sulfated from sitting in storage to long. If it were my battery, I would fully charge it and load tested it. I would also check the battery manufacturer's date code to determine it's age.
