Find out who's the 2012 King of the Hill as PickupTrucks.com tests the entire small-truck segment to determine which little pickups fly, and which fall flat.

The trucks tested are the 2012 Chevy Colorado, 2011 Ford Ranger, 2012 GMC Canyon, 2012 Honda Ridgeline, 2012 Nissan Frontier, 2012 Suzuki Equator and the 2012 Toyota Tacoma.

The Tacoma is higher priced than a Ridgeline? I've never priced one but looked at one on the show room floor when my wife bought her accord and one that was equipped about as close to the Tacoma TRD Sport had a sticker of like 40k.

I didn't have my Tacoma yet at the time. My wife asked why I wouldn't consider the Ridgeline. I looked at the sticker and was like yeah right. Even if I did like it more I couldn't/wouldn't pay that.

Sorry if a repeat - stumbled across this. I do find some of their data interesting......and you are right the Chevy and Ford lines are dead.
