Just wondering if anyone has done it or researched putting power seats from say a 4 runner or similar in their Tacoma?

They won't fit. The bolt holes are different. At least from an 06 T4R and a 2012 Taco. Dunno about the 5th gen T4Rs.

Thanks I need to swing by the dealer and poke around... Wondering if the rails on the seats are able to be separated from the seat itself, I am in the field and can't look at my seats...

IIRC people have done it but one if the feet in the seat required major modification. 3 bolted up.

bucket seats grille craft mesh grille and lights behind grille

I put seats from a Fj crusier in my single cab. I dont know if they come with power seats but it's worth a look.
