Should I feel bad?

I filed a Paypal dispute against someone I bought some wood pieces from. Prior to purchasing the wood I asked it the pic had been altered and he told me no. (people do that) So, I purchased (2) small pieces for $54.00, well when it arrived it looked nothing like the pictures. So, I sent the fellow an e-mail, his response was to offer to give me a different piece of wood at no cost BUT it was not what I wanted or ordered. I tried to discuss it with him but he started getting kinda shitty about it. I hate to be an ass but HEY, it was my $54, ya know?

Nope- You had the photos to go on to decide to buy. If what you got and what you thought you were getting....I'd say you are in the right.

 

It would be different if you were buying based on a stock photo but you went the extra step and questioned them about it so don't feel bad, they didn't sell you what they claimed to have.
