Hey guys i have a 2011 trd off road tacoma 6speed manual 4x4. i was looking under the hood and right behind the air intake boot there are 3 studs sticking up looking like the the bolts for the top of your shock tower but they are located farther back from where the shocks mount. does anyone know what they are and if they are for like an accessory or something. It is on the fender well under the hood behind the air intake close to the firewall.
    thanks for the help

No it's on the passenger side behind the cold air intake tube ontop of the fender under the hood, it almost looks like something is missing. All it is is 3 studs sticking about 3 inches up in like a triangle pattern.

    Yes.

Some models have the ABS controller located there.
Others have it built into the master cylinder.

I believe the TRD offroad has it built into the master and the power brake system is hydraulic, no vacuum "dome" behind the master.

RICH, CHRISTIAN YOU ARE BOTH WRONG! HIS ABS HAS FALLEN OFF!!! DO NOT DRIVE! YOUR ABS FELL OFF AND YOU NEED TO FIND IT AND PUT IT BACK ON BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THE TRUCK ANYWHERE.

It's been a weird night and morning, they're correct ^ I'm just joking, it really depends on the year though, my TRD has ABS right there and I have a vacuum booster

On my 2008 Taco the ABS was mounted there. On my 2012 it's on the left and attached to the master cylinder.
