Help needed with leaf springs, URGENT

Hi all,
I am installing an add a leaf and I can not get the centering pin to line back up with the axle. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Im on my phone, but I know how to fix it. I'll try and do it when i get home

You can try a ratchet strap on the axel to the frame and tighten it to pull it into position.

or

Push with you feet while pulling with your hands.

It can be a bitch but you'll get it.

 

you could do the rachet method, or if its close enough you could try kicking the axle, but thats a little dangerous.

 

Lot easier if both sides are loose.

^X2. Loosen the U-bolts on the other side of the truck. Shouldn't be anything constraining the axle.

 

Had the same problem--FORCE IT!

 

sounds bad but once its close it slides in! haha but yeah loosen both sides and then start pulling/pushing

Glad you go it! What size AAL did you add?

 

This is exactly what I had to do to get mine to line up.

 

It was on my buddy's truck, 2 in

 

I guess I wasn't expecting as much of a hassle haha
