We took the truck out onto the beach for our anniversary weekend. The weather was pretty good, it was cloudy, no rain though. The truck performed very well in the dunes and the soft sand. The new Goodyears pancaked much better than the Generals on my steel wheels, but that is because the Generals were load range E and the Goodyears are C. It was also a good test of my new CV axles and seals (more a test of my install) but they took the bumps and berms like they should.
On a lighter note we got caught behind one of those new loaded "trail rated" grand cherokees...I guess that little knob that says SAND only works on the packed stuff cause he was buried to the frame. A Ram in front of us dragged him out. I was gonna snap some pics but I think the owner was embarassed enough.

NICE! What beach? I have vacationed on the Cape for 20 years... looks strangely familiar.

The beach is Race Point, in Provincetown Mass. We have been driving on since 1986, Striper and Blue fishing.
