your going to get mixed answers on this topic.

i can tell you from personally retrofitting about 8 pairs of headlights for my truck the only aftermarket headlights i would mess with are depot or tyc.

really depot is the best aftermarket headlight you can buy the rest are imo garbage.

yah man, at first I thought it was OEM. than seller message me saying it was aftermarket. but I ended up buying it anyways. been looking for a set for a while now. can't find anything locally. but we'll see how it holds up. like everyone is saying pretty much seal it up with the proper sealant.

to late for me to check out depot or tyc. the pair is on its way. we'll see how it holds up. I'll take into account on what everyone is saying on sealing it up with the proper sealant. but we'll see on the long run

My ebay headlights are going strong after 1 year. A friend who also has a pair have lasted 2 years so far. No leaks.

Honestly I think the leaking issue is with only a small percentage.

just because you bought them on ebay doesn't mean that they aren't tyc or depot you can easily find them on ebay.

other brands can be fine as well i just think the % of them taking on moisture is higher. also i'm into taking them apart or paying someone else to take them apart for me so then the sealant & quality of the plastics is even more of an issue. if you plan on buying them throwing some silicon around the edges and running them as is you'll be fine.

I got some Revotec headlights and they haven't leaked on me at all.

I like how the ones you have are lightly smoked instead of blacked out. Can you post actual pics when you get them?

    Too many to list..
I got mine off ebay over a year ago. They have held up really well. Like others have stated seal them up. My only complaint is that there is a film that was on the lights from the manufacture. It has started to peel off and looking at them close up kinda looks cheap. But from 10 feet away you can't tell.

Being in the desert I couldn't tell you if they leak... They get more water on them from the car wash than anything else. So far I haven't seen any water get inside.

I bought a pair of ebay lights for my gf's mustang about 2 or so years ago. Like everyone said, I sealed them myself before installing. And also like Lateralus said, hers started peeling about a year and a half after installed. You cant tell from more than 10ft away but there is a tiny film that is working its way around the light.
